ICF<\/span> Code<\/span> of<\/span> Ethics<\/span><\/p>

The<\/span> International<\/span> Coaching<\/span> Federation<\/span> (ICF)<\/span> Code<\/span> of<\/span> Ethics<\/span> is<\/span> composed<\/span> of <\/span>five main parts and an appendix:<\/span><\/h4>

2. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span>ICF<\/span> CORE<\/span> VALUES<\/span> AND<\/span> ETHICAL<\/span> PRINCIPLES<\/span><\/span><\/p>

3. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span>COMMITMENTS<\/span> FOR<\/span> ALL<\/span> WITHIN<\/span> THE<\/span> ICF<\/span> ECOSYSTEM<\/span><\/span><\/p>

4. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span>ETHICAL<\/span> STANDARDS<\/span> FOR<\/span> ICF<\/span> PROFESSIONALS<\/span><\/span><\/p>

5. THE PLEDGE OF ETHICS APPENDIX <\/span><\/strong>KEY DEFINITIONS OF TERMS USED IN THE CODE GLOSSARY OF OTHER TERMS<\/span><\/strong><\/h6>

1. \u00a0<\/span><\/span>PURPOSE<\/span><\/h4>

The International Coaching Federation (ICF) is the world\u2019s leading coaching association.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

The<\/span> ICF<\/span> is<\/span> made<\/span> up<\/span> of<\/span> six<\/span> family<\/span> organizations<\/span> (FOs).<\/span> Together,<\/span> they<\/span> form<\/span> the<\/span> ICF<\/span> Ecosystem. <\/span>The FOs are: ICF Professional Coaches, ICF Credentials and Standards, ICF Coaching
Education, ICF Foundation, ICF Coaching in Organizations, and the ICF Thought Leadership Institute. The ICF Global
Board provides strategic direction for and coordination of the complete ICF
ecosystem.<\/span><\/p>

Based on its mission and responsibility, ICF
provides a code of ethics setting out ethical standards of professional conduct
<\/span>required to be adhered to by all within the ICF Ecosystem, whether acting as ICF professionals (see definition) or in any other capacity. The roles and responsibilities governed
<\/span>by the ICF Code of Ethics include
<\/span>ICF professionals, ICF staff (see definition), volunteers, members of ICF boards,
<\/span>leaders of ICF Communities of Practice,\u00a0<\/span>and members of ICF global committees, task forces, and core teams
<\/span>(whether they are ICF professionals or not).<\/span><\/p>

The ICF Code of Ethics incorporates the core values of the International Coaching
<\/span>Federation (ICF Core Values)
<\/span>as a foundation to understanding the ICF Code of Ethics,
<\/span>ethical principles, and
ethical standards of conduct.<\/span><\/p>

The ICF Code of Ethics serves to uphold the integrity of ICF and the global coaching
profession by:<\/span><\/p>

Setting standards of conduct consistent with ICF core values and ethical principles.<\/span><\/span><\/p>
